Welcome to Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Boston!
Welcome to Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Boston! If you are a parent, grandparent, or a friend or other relative, we deeply appreciate your interest in offering the child in your life a quality Catholic education.
Catholic educators in the Archdiocese of Boston are working diligently to meet the needs of your students. In addition to offering a solid foundation in literacy, mathematics, history, and science, most importantly we are offering students an opportunity to learn more about their faith. We want to work with you to develop each child’s individual gifts and spirituality and we are committed to that goal.
Schools in the Archdiocese offer a variety of programs for diverse groups of learners. While some schools focus on STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Mathematics), other schools provide additional opportunities for students in the fine arts, including special programs in drama and music. Still other schools offer a classical Catholic education with a focus on learning Latin while integrating a robust study of history. According to our most recent assessment scores, high school graduation rates, and strong matriculation rates into some of the most select schools in our area and country, our efforts are working for our students.
If you have a student who is ready to enter school or is looking for a new challenge, please contact one of our schools to learn more. If you are someone who wants to assist us in providing the best Catholic education possible, please contact your closest Catholic school or the Catholic Schools Office and we will put you in touch with someone who will benefit from your gifts.
In our schools, we are working to develop saints and scholars. Please join us! The relationships we will build will positively impact everyone, but most importantly our students, who will someday lead our nation and church.
Warmly,
Kathy Mears Superintendent of Catholic Schools Archdiocese of Boston
