Support Strong Study Habits Video Contest BRAINTREE, MA (December 2019) – The Catholic Schools Office (CSO) is excited to announce a new Tips for Parents Video Contest. We are looking for videos from our teachers to share with parents. These videos should be under two minutes long and include tip(s) for parents to develop and encourage strong study habits in their child(ren). We will highlight videos across all our social media platforms accompanied by the hashtag #RCABStudyTips. The teachers selected as winners will receive $200 in award money for each winning video. We are allowing teachers to submit more than one tip, so a teacher could have more than one winning video entry.
All video entries will be due by Friday, January 11, 2019. Please send entries to email@example.com, and direct all questions to Mary Goslin, Director of Government Programs, at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to viewing all the creative entries from our teachers!

Congratulations to the winners of the Discover Today's Catholic Schools in New England Contest!
BRAINTREE: The CSO received more than 1,000 entries for its first Discover Today's Catholic Schools in New England Drawing & Essay Contest! Our panel of judges used a grading rubric to identify the winning entries - it was a tough job. Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Boston are busy developing Saints and Scholars and we are so grateful to the schools that participated in the contest! Grades Kindergarten - Grade 2 had two winners each, and grades 3 - 8 had one winner in each grade.
The students who submitted the winning entries are invited to the Pastoral Center for a special awards ceremony. We look forward to celebrating their accomplishments!

K & 1st grade students Create a drawing based on the theme: JESUS IS MY FRIEND Use any material, such as crayons, color, watercolor
2nd & 3rd grade students Create a drawing or write two paragraphs based on the theme: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I TALK TO JESUS? If you decide to write an essay, you can do it in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
4th to 8th grade students Write an essay based on the theme: IF YOU COULD SPEND ONE DAY WITH JESUS, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
RULES The duration of the contest is October 1st to October 26th, 2018 The contest is open to all students across the Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Boston Submissions could be submitted on any of the following ways:
Submissions can also be sent by snail mail to the Catholic Schools Office, 66 Brooks Drive, Braintree, MA 02184. The deadline line to mail entries is October 22nd. All submissions must be postmarked by October 22, 2018.
Participation in the contest is voluntary. The winners will be notified directly and announced on the Catholic Schools Office website www.csoboston.com/contests. Awards will be delivered during a ceremony at the Pastoral Center of the Archdiocese of Boston and the best drawings and essays will be featured on RCAB social media.
